About
God
God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. He has and does
exist eternally in three distinct personalities: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are co-eternal in
being, co-eternal in nature, co-equal in power and glory and have
the same attributes and perfections. These three separate entities
compose the One essence, God.

About
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the one and
only perfect Son of God yet equal with God. He came to earth, born
of the Virgin Mary and lived a sinless human life. He was the sacrifice
for every human's sin. He died on a cross and rose from the dead
on the third day. He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right
hand of God and will one day return to reign as King of kings and
Lord of lords and to judge the living and the dead.

About
the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with
the Father and Son. He is the teacher, comforter, and intercessor
who indwells the believer from the moment of conversion. He enables
and empowers the believer to live abundantly and to understand spiritual
truth. The Christian seeks to live under His influence and guidance
daily.

About
People
All people are created equal
by God and in His image and likeness. However, through Adams
sin all people inherit a sinful nature and are separated from God.
Men and women possess the ability to perform moral acts of kindness
toward one another, but spiritually, are depraved due to the inherited
sinful nature, and are unable to redeem themselves. Redemption comes
only through Jesus Christ.

About
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God,
which cannot be inherited by human merit or work. Salvation is by
God's grace and through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation occurs
at the point of belief and confession. Forgiveness of sin is available
through the atoning death of Christ who alone is able to place us
in right relationship with God. Believers possess complete assurance
of eternal life. Saving faith manifests in the believer a desire
to produce good fruit and to be obedient. Believers do not "work"
for God in order to be saved. They "work" for God because
they are saved.

About
the Bible
The Bible is God's inspired
revelation to humans. Various human authors under the guidance of
the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible. Under the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit, the scriptures were written without error. They are a completely
infallible and reliable source of truth and an immeasurable resource
for daily living.

Psalm 119:105, 119:160; 12:6; Proverbs 30:5; Hebrews 4:12
About
the Church
We are the Church. We are
to represent Christ with gentleness, love, and humility. Jesus is
the true light of the world and believers should reflect that light
in relation to unbelievers and each other.
Matthew 16:16-18; 24:30-31;
Acts 2:42; 1 Corinthians 1:10; 12:27; Ephesians 2:19-22; Colossians
3:11-17; Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 Peter 3:15
About
Baptism
Baptism is a symbol of identification
with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism is a
complete immersion in water and is done after a person has accepted
Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We believe Jesus set the example
of Baptism for us in Matthew 3:13-17. Baptism does not save us,
but rather it is an act of obedience on the part of the believer
showing the world they are a follower of Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:4; Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians
5:17
About
the Lord's Supper
We celebrate the Lord's Supper
(Communion) in remembrance of Jesus' death and resurrection. The
bread represents His body, which was broken for us. The juice represents
His blood, which was shed for us. We encourage all those who have
made Jesus their personal Savior to celebrate with us. For a person
who doesn't have a relationship with Jesus Christ, or one who is
living in rebellion, the Lord's Supper will have no meaning.
1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Romans
12:1; 1 John 1:9; Matthew 5:23-24
About
Eternity
We believe man will either
exist eternally separated from God by sin or exist eternally with
God through the acceptance of His forgiveness and salvation. To
be eternally separated from God is to exist in Hell. To exist with
God is to have eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places of
eternal existence.

Matthew 25:31-46; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15
